Bhaktivedanta Manor School (Gurukula) is an independent primary school with a unique educational system: It is registered with the department of education and employment (DFFE) and promotes Vedic and Vaishnava culture within the new national curriculum.
Purposes of the Bhaktivedanta Manor School
1. To foster children's attraction for Krishna consciousness while using the framework of the new national curriculum.
2. To provide a Vedic education that will make the children proud of being Vaishnavas.
3. To provide children the unique opportunity to engage their creativity in Vedic devotional art, music, drama and dance.
4. To nurture the children's sensitivity towards their environment, all living entities, and other religions and cultures.
5. To inspire children to gain self-esteem and integrity through self-discipline, and to encourage them to realize their full potential, spiritually, morally and academically, in cooperation with the school, their parents and their communities.
