Krishna Club
The children of today will have the important role of preaching Sanatana Dharma in the future. Therefore, it is essential to equip them with a fundamental understanding of Krishna consciousness, the 'King of Education'.
Krishna Club has been running at Bhakivedanta Manor every Sunday since 1994. It provides a balanced system of Krishna Conscious education for 5 - 18 year olds in a fun and informative way. The children learn about our philosophy in a caring and spiritual atmosphere.
Both traditional and contemporary teaching methods are used to aid understanding and the children's individual talents are always encouraged through creative media such as music, drama and dance.
The members of Krishna Club have a love for Srila Prabhupada's teachings and thus develop enthusiasm for learning about who Lord Sri Krishna is and how to worship and serve Him.
2002 has been an exciting year for us. In May we doubled in size to 100 members. To celebrate, we held a Children's Party together with the Gurukula where we were amazed by Parasurama das' thrilling magic and puppet shows and truly entertained by various games and hilarious activities (especially the father's race!).
Everyone enjoyed the day thoroughly and we hope to have more events like this in the future.
