| | Ramanavami 11th April 2003 This is the appearance anniversary of Lord Ramachandra (Rama), an incarnation of Vishnu or Krishna. He is the perfect king and perfect husband. He appeared on the earth millions of years ago in the Treta yuga, accompanied by his wife, Sita, His brother Lakshman, and His faithful servant, Hanuman. at Bhaktivedanta Manor, devotees fast from food, and they present special dramas
and classes on the Ramayana. New outfits are presented to the Deities. A large
turnout of pilgrims takes darshan of the Manor's Deities of Sita-Rama, Lakshman
and Hanuman. In the field there is a special marquee which stages bhajans, dances
