Caring for Mother Cow The cow and the bull are most dear to lord Krishna and by His kind arrangement they have a very close relationship with human society. They care for us by providing milk and the work force to cultivate grains in the fields. Here at Bhaktivedanta Manor we have 13 milking cows providing all the milk necessary for the offerings made to Their Lordships. Five bulls assist in working the land. In giving Godan, not only will you help to look after the cows and the bulls, but also help educate society about the urgent need for cow protection, Go-raksha. A nominal contribution of £35 helps to cover the daily cost f maintaining feed, medical supplies, vet charges and other general requirements of the goshalla. Alternatively, you can choose to sponsor a cow for an annual contribution of £351. |
