PATRONS

of the Bhaktivedanta Manor Foundation

The task of the Bhaktivedanta Manor Foundation is to establish adequate funding for the optimum operation of all activities at Bhaktivedanta Manor. Each Patron would contribute £1008 or more per annum, in order to meet the ideal budget for the temple.

You are already working hard to provide the necessities of life for your family. You are no doubt planning to secure a bright future for your children. But in a world where material comfort and profit cannot guarantee happiness, it is vital that we do not neglect to provide a spiritual and moral basis for our lives.

The devotees at Bhaktivedanta Manor aim to provide this service. The students are trained specifically to minister to the needs of the community and teach the spiritual science of Krishna consciousness - sanatan dharma. However, we are regularly distracted from this primary service in order to raise funds for the maintenance of the temple. Faced with this dilemma, it is the wish of the Council of Patrons of Bhaktivedanta Manor to invite you to become one of our honoured Patrons.

Your invaluable service of contributing £1008 annually will not only assist the running of the temple but moreover, offer time to our brahmachari students for spiritual learning and caring for the community. We welcome you to accept our invitation to become a Patron of Bhaktivedanta Manor.

Special boards have been erected at the Manor to honour the names of all our respected Patrons. You will also receive regular correspondence and reports on the work and progress of the Foundation. The Council of Patrons also organise an annual gathering of all Patrons and their families. Our ultimate hope is for the spiritual growth of all who are sincerely serving this great work of spreading sanatan dharma. In fact, the blessings of the Lord upon such a soul are guaranteed, as stated in the Gita, "There is no servant more dear than he who preaches My glories, nor will there ever be one so dear." Who can offer a greater gift than this?
