Course Description
If you’re interested in introducing your child to Indian culture and Sanskrit, this course designed specifically for kids aged 7 years old (Year 3) -11 years old (Year 6). Throughout the course, your child will be memorising chapter 15 of the Bhagavad Gita with correct pronunciation and learn the meaning of each verse through stories related to each verse.
Key Learning Outcomes: 1. Basic Sanskrit: Covers topics such as Sanskrit alphabet, compound letters) and conjunct letters 2. Enhanced Pronunciation: Through chanting Sanskrit verses 3. Character Building & Life Skills: Understanding the significance of Bhagavad Gita 4. Improved Focus, Memory, and Concentration: Brain gym exercises
* Prerequisites: No previous exposure to Sanskrit is required, and the ability to understand English is compulsory.
Teacher Profile
Sriji Sundari devi dasi was born and raised in a traditional Vaisnava family. From the age of 8, she committed to memorize chapters 12 and 15 of the Bhagavad Gita. At 20, she began learning Sanskrit grammar. She has taught Sanskrit recitation and Bhagavad Gita to over 500 children in India and worked as a Sanskrit teacher at two primary schools for the last 7 years.
She is a disciple of H.H. Radhanatha Swami, holding certifications in Hindi, and Gujarati. Additionally, she possesses a Masters degree in Accountancy and a part-qualified ACCA.
Beyond her academic and spiritual endeavours, Sriji Sundari is a nurturing mother to two children, a devoted wife, and resides in North West London.
