Course Description
School of Bhakti Presents: Before Religion - Ancient India’s Reconciling Vision for Universal Spirituality
Course overview: In a world often divided by religious and ideological boundaries, Before Religion offers a new pathway for spiritual seekers of all backgrounds. This course takes you on a journey through the oldest spiritual and philosophical texts, offering insights that transcend traditional religious divisions. Inspired by the Vedic teachings, this course aims to guide students toward self-realisation and a profound understanding of ultimate reality.
In this day course, we’ll journey into the heart of Vedic spirituality, exploring how its ancient insights address the questions of modern life. Together, we’ll examine universal principles that apply to every seeker’s path, regardless of background or beliefs.
Here’s a taste of what we will cover: • How Vedic wisdom bridges spirituality, science, and philosophy—revealing truths that unite rather than divide. • The essence of spirituality before religion: how ancient practices offer a pathway to self-realisation and harmony. • Key teachings that speak to today’s need for inner peace, purpose, and a deeper understanding of reality.
Who should attend? This session is open to all who are curious about spirituality beyond labels. Whether you’re a seasoned Bhakti practitioner, a beginner, or simply interested in exploring spirituality, this day session will bring new perspectives on how ancient wisdom can enrich modern lives.
