If tickets are still available\, we may ask you to book a ticket online via your phone. If not you will be returned from the car parks. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCan I come for mangal arati and guru puja?\n\n\n\nYes. you are welcome to come to Bhaktivedanta Manor before 10am. But if you arrive during the event time (10am–7pm)\, then you will need an entry ticket to enter Bhaktivedanta Manor\, as without a ticket in those times\, you will not be allowed entry. If you arrive before 10am\, you will be allowed to stay for the rest of the day without a ticket. \n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHow long can I stay?\n\n\n\nYou are welcome to stay and enjoy the festivities for as long as you like. Your ticket time only relates to your arrival time. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat if I arrive earlier / later than my booked arrival time?\n\n\n\nIf you arrive 30 mins before or after your booked arrival time\, then you will still be allowed entry. Any earlier than that\, we may ask you to please come back later\, closer to your booked time. Any later than that\, we will try our best to accommodate you\, but it may not be possible to allow entry due to limited parking. Please do not book a separate entry ticket for the festival. We encourage you to use this service as parking at Bhaktivedanta Manor is limited\, and this will allow more visitors to partake in the celebration. \nThe bus Service will start at 11am from Stanmore. He appeared in 1486 in Mayapur\, West Bengal. \nGaura Purnima provides a golden opportunity to reflect on Lord Caitanya’s mission of spreading Nama Sankirtana to every town and village\, and chant the holy names of the Lord. \nThe Holika Dahan bonfire is a ceremonial tradition performed based on the past-times of Prahlad Maharaja. The fire is meant to symbolise protection\, and the importance of faith in Lord Sri Krishna. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSchedule\n\n\n\n\n10am-9:30pm: Darshan \n10am-8pm: Kirtan (Sri Krishna Haveli) \n3pm-7:30pm: Holika Dahan \nPrasadam will be served throughout the day \nNote: There will be no rang mela (throwing of coloured powders) at this festival \n\n\n\n\nTickets\n\n\n\n\nTo help ensure that every pilgrim\, visitor & well-wisher is able to have a pleasant experience\, we require you to book a ticket. If not you will be returned from the car parks. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCan I come for mangal arati and guru puja?\n\n\n\nYes. you are welcome to come to Bhaktivedanta Manor before 10am. But if you arrive during the event time (10am–7pm)\, then you will need an entry ticket to enter Bhaktivedanta Manor\, as without a ticket in those times\, you will not be allowed entry. If you arrive before 10am\, you will be allowed to stay for the rest of the day without a ticket. \n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHow long can I stay?\n\n\n\nYou are welcome to stay and enjoy the festivities for as long as you like. Your ticket time only relates to your arrival time. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat if I arrive earlier / later than my booked arrival time?\n\n\n\nIf you arrive 30 mins before or after your booked arrival time\, then you will still be allowed entry. Any earlier than that\, we may ask you to please come back later\, closer to your booked time. Any later than that\, we will try our best to accommodate you\, but it may not be possible to allow entry due to limited parking. The Gita can also be divided into three sections (6 chapters each): \nSection 1: Karma Yoga\nSection 2: Bhakti Yoga\nSection 3: Jnana Yoga \nThe word “yoga” is nowadays associated with stretching postures and exercises\, yet its true meaning is “the process of linking”. But if you arrive during the event time (10am-8pm)\, then you will need an entry ticket to enter Bhaktivedanta Manor\, as without a ticket in those times\, you will not be allowed entry. If you arrive before 10am\, you will be allowed to stay for the rest of the day without a ticket. \n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHow long can I stay?\n\n\n\nYou are welcome to stay and enjoy the festivities for as long as you like. Your ticket time only relates to your arrival time. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat if I arrive earlier / later than my booked arrival time?\n\n\n\nIf you arrive 30 mins before or after your booked arrival time\, then you will still be allowed entry. The name itself comes from Dipavali\, a Sanskrit word referring to the countless rows of lamps which His citizens had lit throughout the kingdom to welcome Him back home (dipa means “lamp\, light or candle\,” and avali means “rows”). During a different era\, this was also the day when Lord Krishna performed His childhood pastime of breaking pots of yogurt and letting His mother bind Him with rope. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the Five Days of Diwali\n\n\n\n\nThe first day of Diwali is called Dhanvantari Trayodasi\, which is when Lord Dhanvantari appeared on this planet in order to give Ayurvedic medicine to mankind. On this day\, Hindus pray for protection from untimely death. \nThe second day of Diwali is called Naraka Chaturdasi\, and is the day upon which Lord Krishna destroyed the demon Narakasura and liberated the 16\,000 princesses which the demon had been holding captive. \nThe third day is the actual day of Diwali\, which is when Lord Rama returned to His kingdom after successfully rescuing Sita and defeating the demon Ravana. On this day\, Hindus pray for the blessings of wealth and prosperity\, and for the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness. \nOn the fourth day\, Hindus perform Govardhana Puja\, or worship of the sacred hill of Govardhana\, a tradition which Lord Krishna Himself started roughly five thousand years ago. \nThe fifth day of Diwali is called Bhratri Dooj\, which is a day dedicated to honouring the bond between brothers and sisters.
