DESCRIPTION:Tuesday 18 July – Thursday 17 August 2023\nPurusottama Month (also known as Adhika Masa) appears every three years. It is considered an ideal month to engage in spiritual activities and devotees can receive great favour from Lord Krishna through their efforts. During the month devotees are recommended to increase their chanting of the Holy Name\, worship Lord Krishna and make extra endeavour for their spiritual welfare. \nWe have organised a special programme for the month centred around Japa. A bhajan\, a special discussion on the Holy Name and a live japa session will be held each evening. DESCRIPTION:Every Sunday between 9 July & 13 August 2023 | Sri Krishna Haveli\n\nJoin us every Sunday from 9 July – 13 August at 5pm-7pm in the Sri Krishna Haveli as we start up the new Sunday Love Feast. There will be two hours filled with chanting & dancing\, enlivening wisdom\, culture & entertainment\, and of course the delicious prasadam (feast). \nThis will be a family friendly event\, with something for everyone. A chance for the community to come together\, as well as something interesting and inspiring for the newcomer. \nPlease note that simple maha-prasadam will be available for all visitors\, however the full meal (feast prasadam) will only be for attendees of the full program. \nWe hope this program will become a permanent feature of Bhaktivedanta Manor. DESCRIPTION:27 – 31 August 2023\n\nThe five-day celebration of Jhulan at Bhaktivedanta Manor\, when Sri Sri Radha Gokulananda are placed on a swing and swung by Their devotees\, is a joyous occasion. \nDuring this special time all of us can throng to the temple and please the transcendental eternal forms of Sri Sri Radha Gokulananda. These transcendental forms of the Lord\, called Archa-Vigraha\, are installed in the temple and are non-different from Them personally. These forms are expanded by the Lord by His internal potency to facilitate the devotional service of His innumerable devotees who are in the material world. \nSince our material senses cannot perceive the spiritual nature of Sri Sri Radha Gokulananda\, They accept such Archa Vigraha apparently made of a material element such as marble\, but actually there is no material contamination. He came as Laxman with Rama and later as Sri Nityananda Prabhu with Lord Caitanya.
