The Operations Director is the single point of contact for operations and administration at the School of Bhakti (SB) which is a pivotal role as it encompasses logistics from inception to delivery of courses, events and retreats, working with a larger team of staff and volunteers & Directors. No prior experience is necessary, just the willingness to learn and give 100%.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
- Maintain Courses, Events and Retreats schedule with relevant information such as links to the courses and highlighting to the relevant teams of any clashes with festivals
- Facilitate meeting at the beginning of each quarter to ensure that all streams are aligned with the services required for courses, events and retreats
- Update courses, events and retreats posters if needed
- Create course registration links
- Create course, events and retreats Zoom links and maintain Zoom rooms calendar
- Quality check promotions on website and social media platforms – only scheduled courses, events and retreats
- Handle communication of all approved/cancelled/postponed courses, events and retreats to all SB leaders
- Book Manor rooms, coordinate and help with room set up/set down
- Liaise with Technical and Operations Team for all equipment/resources requirements prior to the start of onsite/online courses and help set up as required (e.g. connect computer to screen, start zoom)
- Assisting in providing student register to the SB Tech and Operations when necessary
- Compile number of people registered for each course / event on a weekly basis
- Maintain an organised repository/archive of all course materials and recordings for both Students and Teachers to access
- Print and provide course certificates to Technical and Operations Team to distribute to qualified students
- Manage the SB Reception
- Assist with candidates queries (SB phone and Inbox)
- Manage procurement of supplies, materials, equipment and inventory management
- Assist in improving operational management systems, processes and best practices
- Attend regular periodic meetings and provide progress updates
Skills required
- Practicing ISKCON Regulative Principles and regularly chanting
- Proven work experience as an Office Administrator or similar role, desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding planning, organisational and time management skills
- Quality focused approach with good eye for detail
- Must be a team player
- Ability to multi task and serve under pressure
- IT literate skills and familiar with MS-Office is a must
Location: Hare Krishna Temple, Bhaktivedanta Manor, Hilfield Lane, Watford WD25 8EZ
Hours: 3 days a week (21 hours) Sat and Sun core hours: 9am to 5pm with one hour for lunch, on site at the Bhaktivedanta Manor, with flexibility to spread remaining 7 hours during the weekdays (Full Time position considered)
