Chaplain to the Mayor of Harrow

Srutidharma das has been appointed Chaplain to the Mayor of Harrow, Cllr Mrinal Choudhury. During Harrow Council’s Civic Service at St Mary’s Church in Harrrow on the Hill, Srutidharma das chanted Sanskrit prayers, including the chanting of Hare Krishna as part of the proceedings. In its long history Harrow School has had a number of famous students, including eight former British Prime Ministers (such as Winston Churchill) and the first Prime Minsiter of India Jawaharlal Nehru.
