School of Bhakti Retreats Team are excited to invite you to join us for our annual Kartik Retreat! Leave behind the cold UK weather this October, and forget the stresses of day-to-day life,to embark on this amazing yatra to visit some of the most beautiful pilgrimage sites.
This will be a wonderful opportunity for you to visit some of the hidden places
Come and join us for this wonderful retreat with our esteemed speakers HG Gauranga Das and HG Gauranga Darshan Das and like-minded devotees, so that you may relish the pastimes of the Lord and dive deeper into your spiritual journey.
School of Bhakti has planned a spiritual adventure during which you will be taken on a journey across some of the most spectacular temples including Badrinath & Badrika Ashram where Vyasadev wrote Srimad Bhagvatam, visiting these holy pilgrims will help you deepen your connection with the Lord, and make some wonderful life-long friends and memories.
You will be booking your own international flights to suit your own schedules in case you wish to extend your stay in India either side of the retreat.
Rough Iterinary is as follows:
11 Oct 25: We will be meeting you at the Ayodhya airport in the morning at 10am, following which we will be visiting the famous Ram Mandir & Some other temples
12 Oct 25: Day trip to Niamisharanya and visiting the local temples and stay overnight at Lucknow
13 Oct 25: Flight to Dehradun from Lucknow and vsiting the local temples in Rishikesh
14 Oct 25: Visiting the local temples and evening aarti at the Ghat
15 Oct 25: Drive to Devprayag to visit the Sangam of Alakananda & Bhagirathi and stay overnight
16 Oct 25: Drive to Badrinath & Visit the main temple in the evening
17 Oct 25: Mangal Aarti at Badrinath Temple & then visit to Badrika Ashram to spend the day staying overnight at Badrinath
18 Oct 25: Drive to Rudrprayag visiting temples on the way and stay overnight at Rudraprayag
19 Oct 25: Drive to Dehradun/Delhi/Vrindavan
You can see from the above that we have put together a packed itinerary to visit some of the most spectacular and outstanding temples in India! By offering this retreat, we hope to give you the chance to experience an incredible and enchanting pilgrimage that you will never forget.
In keeping with previous School of Bhakti retreats, we have arranged comfortable hotels for you to stay at during the trip, and we have plenty of kirtans, devotional service and, of course, delicious prasadam to keep you replenished! There will also be time to relax and take in the local culture and natural beauty of the areas we visit, as well as the opportunity to immerse yourselves in spiritual activities.
Spaces for the retreat are limited as we want to keep the group small, intimate, and manageable, so please book your places early to avoid disappointment! Bookings will be made on a first come first served basis and places will be confirmed upon payment.
Once payment has been completed you will receive an email to join the WhatsApp group where all the further announcements will be made
Please note HG Gauranga Das will be sharing nectar with us from 11 to 14 Oct 25 and HG Gauranga Darshan Das will be showering the wisdom upon us from 14th to 19th October 2025

Cost: £1199 (2 Adults sharing a room) or £1699 (Single Occupancy)
Cost is per person and includes internal travel between 11-19 October 2024 including the flight from Lucknow to Dehradun, accommodation in a 4 star or 5 star Hotel and all the meals. You will have to arrange your own international flights and visas etc.
Cancellation Policy: If you cancel anytime before 31 Jul 25 we will refund you 50% of the total amount you paid, no refund will be provided if you cancel anytime after 31 Jul 25 as the payments to the service providers will be completed in full by this date.
We will try our best to follow the itinerary outline above, however it may be subject to change depending on circumstances. A detailed retreat information pack will be provided a month before the retreat.
