School of Bhakti invites you to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and connect with your inner self.
A special summer long weekend retreat, to immerse yourself in discovering the true you with our special keynote speaker; Her Grace Visakha Dasi. HG Visakha Dasi is not only the temple president of Bhaktivedanta manor but also a prabhupada disciple and a prolific writer. In addition, various Srila Prabhupada disciples residing in New Mayapur will be joining us.
Over the course of 4 days, our keynote speakers will dive deep into how we can deepen our love and devotion towards Sri Krishna through Prabhupada's famous book called as "The Nectar of Devotion". You will discover practical ways to declutter your life to allow time for spiritual growth.
The retreat includes a 3-night stay at the temple’s comfortable guest house, packed with various activities, such as lectures, yoga classes, nature walks, games, drama, music, connecting with like-minded people, tasting plenty of delicious vegetarian/vegan food, and much more. You won’t be disappointed!
We will drift you away to a castle & temple, in the heart of France! Château d’Oublaise, now known as New Mayapur, is situated in the serene countryside of Centre-Val de Loire, France. It was established as a Hare Krishna temple community in 1974 by the followers of His Divine Grace A. C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, founder of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness. The temple shrine is home to Their Lordships Sri Sri Gaura-Nitai, Sri Sri Krishna-Balaram, Sri Sri Radha-Govinda-Madhava.
On the last day, we will also be visting the Radha Krishna Temple in Paris for darshan and lunch.

Date: Friday 22 Aug to Tuesday 26 Aug 2025. We will be leaving on Friday 22nd Aug evening at 6pm from Avanti School Stanmore (Address TBC) to catch the evening Ferry from Dover (ETA at New Mayapur is 8am) and returning back on Tuesday 26th August at 10pm (Leave NMD at 9am straight after the breakfast to go to ISKCON Paris Temple for Darshan and Lunch and then take the evening ferry back to UK). Timings can be subject to change. Snacks will be provided on the coach for outward and return journey!
Bookings will be on a first come first serve basis, so book as soon as you can to avoid disappointment. Places confirmed upon payment.
Retreat Fee: Prices are dependent on room type and are per person. All prices include travel (coach & ferry), accommodation, activities and all meals.

Refund policy: If we (the organiser – School of Bhakti) cancel the retreat, you are eligible for a full refund of the payment you made to us for the retreat. If you (the attendee) cancel the retreat, we will not be able to refund.
