Special Guests at the Gurukul

Special Guests at the Gurukul

Gunacuda dasi, the Head Teacher of the Gurukula Hare Krishna Primary School, described a special day:

“The Gurukiul School were very fortunate to welcome Vaisesika prabhu and Mother Nirakula on the final day of the Spring term.

“During the visit, the children shared verses they have been learning from the Bhagavad Gita. Vaisesika prabhu explained the meaning of one verse in particular, helping them understand its message in a simple, engaging way.

“He also spoke about the importance of sharing the Bhagavad Gita with others. The children then practised this through a fun role-play activity in front of everyone.

“They always look forward to his visits, as he keeps their attention and encourages thoughtful discussion. Vaisesika prabhu has expressed interest in returning to lead a workshop on distributing Srila Prabhupada’s books, which the children would enjoy.

“Several children, along with their families, have been trained by him, helping spread Krishna consciousness and share what they learn at home and at the Gurukula.”

The Gurukula provides an environment where every pupil can awaken their loving devotion to Krishna in a natural and spontaneous way, in a learning environment.

There are still places in Year 1 and above for this September.
