Krishna Wisdom hosted its annual Christmas Party last Saturday and what an absolute triumph it was! With around 70 souls coming together, the evening was a joyful celebration of community, connection, and Christmas spirit!
The Krishna Wisdom team made the evening feel truly special. After a delicious Christmas-themed feast, a truly unforgettable mantra choir experience was led by the talented Jayadeva Das. There was something deeply magical about a room full of curious, open-hearted newcomers chanting the holy names together in harmony.
Proceedings then flowed into an inspiring talk by Kripmoya Das, who shared insights into the history and spiritual significance of Christmas, Christ and its connection to Krishna Consciousness.
Just when you thought the night couldn’t get more vibrant, Jake took the stage with an electrifying rock and roll infused kirtan that had the room on its feet, dancing and singing with joy.
As the energy gently settled, it was time to get their thinking caps on for a classic Christmas quiz, bringing out both laughter and playful competition. To round off the night, they were blessed by a short skit performed by two familiar faces from the Bhaktivedanta Players. Their hilarious yet thought-provoking performance about ingredients in the modern world that distract people from spiritual life.
The Krishna Wisdom community at Bhaktivedanta Manor focuses on those who are less familiar with the culture that is often associated with Krishna Consciousness.
