About the Speaker
Sukhavaha dasi earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Welfare at Penn State University in 1974. In 1975 she received initiation from Srila Prabhupada.
She has been serving in the domain of New Vrindaban for decades interrupted by 15 years collecting for and serving in NYC as a manager of the now Bhakti Center (including overseeing the then restaurant).
She has volunteered as a manager at the Barsana Eye Camp in India for 15 years.
She has been studying the Kaurna Care courses for over 5 years and doing administrative tasks and facilitating courses for the past three years.
She has conducted numerous seminars and workshops and is the author of four books. She is a mother of 3 and a grandmother of 3.
