A herd of ox-carts ceremoniously lead a procession from main Bhaktivedanta Manor building to Holland Farm. The main cart escorted the utsav (festival) deities of Sri Sri Radha Gokulananda, which was tailed by hundreds of devotees singing kirtan.
Holland Farm, on the far western part of the Manor’s 78 acre estate, is the base of the Manor’s horticultural project. Many different vegetables, herbs and fruits are organically grown there, thanks mainly to the hard-work of voluntary organic farmers (WWOOFers) as well as others, all overseen by Krishna Caitanya das.
There are plans to make bullock-cart rides between New Gokul and Holland Farms more available to the public.
