10th Anniversary of the RKDA

The Radha Krishna Deaf Association (RKDA) held their 10th Anniversary and Diwali celebrations in the Victoria Hall in Harrow, which included an evening of devotional activity and entertainment. Special guests included the Mayor of Brent Cllr Harbhajan Singh, Angela Dias the Chief Executive of Harrow Association of Disabled People, the Honourable Patron of Harrow Council Alderman Keith Toms and others.

The RKDA organises events aimed at deaf and non-deaf devotees of Lord Krishna. They provide training to hearing devotees to be able to translate sign language, thus creating more integration, so that deaf devotees can participle discussions, lectures, classes, dramas and other actives.
