Bhaktivedanta Manor celebrated a joyful Harvest Festival highlighting the traditional power of oxen and the importance of sustainable farming.
The day began with a grand procession from New Gokul to Holland Farm, where the Manor’s horticulture project is based, bringing together devotees and visitors in a colourful celebration of the harvest.

The leading ox cart carried the beautifully decorated deities of Radha Gokulananda, adding a special devotional dimension to the procession.

Visitors were able to experience how, before modern machinery, oxen played an essential role in helping farmers cultivate the land and bring in the harvest.

At Holland Farm, devotees and guests enjoyed a program based around the celebration of nature, the Deities and of course the role of the ox and cow in Vedic culture.

Families also learned more about the Manor’s organic farming and horticulture projects and its commitment to sustainable living.
The Ox Power and Harvest Festival left visitors with a renewed appreciation for the land, the animals and the simple blessings of a plentiful harvest.
