Sunday 7th November’s edition of BBC Sunday Morning Live 10.30am on BBC1, Presenter and devotee Radha Bedi will air a story on cow protection featuring The New Gokul Farm and finds out about the traditional practise of Ahimsa milk and how sustainable farming lies at the heart of the Hare Krishna faith, when she spent a day at Bhaktivedanta Manor. The award winning documentary about the urgent plight of the Yamuna River was screened in the Bhaktivedanta Manor’s Haveli. Russell Brand’s 12-step recovery group
Early October, Russell Brand and members from his 12-step recovery group attended Bhaktivedanta Manor for a full-day retreat. Visakha dasi and Kripa Moya das introduced the guests to Srila Prabhupada and took them on a full tour of the estate, especially including the temple room and the Bhagavad-gita walk around the lake.
