Early May, over thirty volunteers from MasterCard spent a fruitful day at Bhaktivedanta Manor’s Holland farm. It was organised by an active volunteer and congregation member Ranjan das, who works as senior manager for the corporate.
Shortly afterwards another twenty volunteers came from Sales Force.
Both groups participated in various activities including sowing seeds, transplanting cauliflower and amaranth seedlings, and weeding beetroots.
They were also given tours of the temple and gardens, and loved the prasad (vegetarian food). Working in the fresh air, with a closeness to the earth, was a rich experience for all. They were impressed to learn about the eco-friendly practices and regenerative farming ideas.
There are already plans for them to return in in July and September!
