Springtime on the Farm – Channel 5
Daisybeck Productions, working with Channel 5 on its Springtime on the Farm series, travelled from Yorkshire to Bhaktivedanta Manor’s New Gokul Farm to capture exclusive footage. Filming took place over two days, documenting traditional hand-milking, attentive cow care, oxen working the fields, and the Holland Farm horticultural project. As a special highlight, the team also recorded Go Mochana Utsava — “the festival of letting the cows out.” After spending the winter months sheltered in barns, the cows and oxen were released back into open pasture, a moment marked by visible excitement as they leapt, stretched, and reacquainted themselves with the fields. Walking with Purpose: A Sunday Pilgrimage to Krishna
