On the morning of Sunday 7th September, over 200 people (including 75 children), descended upon the Krishna Avanti Primary School in Edgware to witness the first event of its kind. Significantly, most of the attendees were ‘new’.
That morning Vrindavan Chandra Swami spoke about of Lord Chaitanya and Srila Prabhupada’s mission.
Pranabandhu das and Nila Madhava das then spoke on the themes of ‘every town and village’ and ‘bringing the message of Krishna Consciousness to the West’. There was also a drama by the Junior Bhaktivedanta Players, and later everyone danced and sang with great enthusiasm.

The purpose of this Sunday Love Feast and Krishna Club combined event was to reach out to people in their locality, providing the grass roots of spirituality and culture to families.
