Faith, Health and Partnership

Bhaktivedanta Manor recently hosted an important One Vision Faith and Health Networking Board Meeting. It was a powerful space where faith leaders, NHS colleagues, local government, and the voluntary sector came together to align around a shared purpose: delivering on the ambitions of the NHS 10-Year Plan through trusted, community-led partnerships.

After Harjit Singh DL and Rumit Shah, set the tone for interfaith collaboration, a variety of speakers reinforced the critical role of illness prevention, early intervention, and culturally responsive health services across Hertfordshire.

Mr Matt Turmaine, MP for Watford, reflected on policy, place and purpose underscored the value of community voice in shaping health outcomes.

Bhaktivedanta Manor’s Devotee Care Office was duly represented, highlighting the Manor’s commitment to holistic wellbeing — not only through spiritual care but combined by promoting mental, emotional, and physical health as part of daily life.

Together, these conversations emphasized the power of partnership: when institutions work alongside communities rooted in trust, compassion, and cultural understanding, real change becomes possible.
