The North Kent sanga group based in Rochester has been running in its
present form since 2018. Prior to then, devotees ran “Closet Krishna”,
the first Krishna charity shop in the UK which was famous for its
unique atmosphere and became a must-visit spot for spiritual seekers.
Regular events include harinama and Rathayatra processions, as well as weekly gatherings. The historic Rochester Castle is the setting for a special annual event: Kirtan in the Castle. It will take place this year on 16 July and
will feature a harinam procession, finishing in Rochester Castle with
kirtan and prasadam.
Navadvip Chandra das and Pranabandu das were special guests
at the regular sanga, held at Rochester Quakers Hall.
