Eco-sanga group member Roshni Thakrar led the team to join the Ahimsa Farm congregation near Birmingham to grow 1600 hedgerows. There was a total of 70 volunteers who joined over the weekend who planted 1000 hawthorns, 300 field maples, 200 hazels, 50 dog roses and 75 dogwoods.

The event, sponsored by St Ethelburga’s centre for peace and reconciliation, included meditations, and ecology educational sessions including sessions on permaculture and finding an ‘Eco-warrior voice’.
